The Emerald Scarab was founded by Kallah Maguire, a professional wardrobe stylist who truely enjoys helping people develop their own special sense of style. While continuing to work with photographers and designers on fashion photo shoots, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a keen eye for current fashion to her personal clients. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kallah is known for her passion for haute couture, as well as a playful renegade attitude. As a kid, she always played dress-up in her grandmother's vintage clothing, and even won an award as the 'Dress-Up Queen' at summer camp. Kallah attended the Fashion Institute for Design and Merchandising in San Francisco, and has worked in Europe with a network of professional contacts in the local fashion industry and consumer market. Most recently, Kallah has styled for the 2008 Daytime Emmys, Esquire International, and the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Some of her other clients include Ben Affleck, Skyler Stone, Johnny Coppola, and Dominique Swain.
